Glory to God for my Blessed Marriage

Today marks the 12th year of marriage to my best friend, my love, my MAN!  I can’t believe how fast it has gone.  I was looking through our engagement and wedding photos with our son (my dear hubby slept in because he was up most of the night coughing – poor thing) and was thinking of how much our lives have been blessed through the divine Providence of our union as husband and wife.  Our marriage  forever changed our lives beyond anything we could have ever imagined.  Within that first year of moving from CA to AZ, I went from being a single lady living at home with my parents, to a wife, a homemaker, and a mother!  Not to mention the fact that I was still needing to get used to living in another state away from all my family and friends.

As I reflect back on our 12 years, I am in awe of the mighty hand of GOD moving powerfully and protecting us throughout our marriage.  We have experienced tremendous joy, laughter, happiness, blessings, as well as had our share of tears, pain, sorrow and hurt.  Oh yes, we were not perfect!  Ha!  Definitely far from it.  We were (are) sinners and only growing by the grace and working of God.  But WOW, seeing how we are today, I cannot but truly give all praise, honor and glory to the LORD for our transformation!  I love my husband more today and in a much more deeper way than I ever did even when we first were together!  It is a love that has strength to it — if that makes any sense.  And as we continue on living for Him, I know our marriage will continue to grow even stronger and deeper and more intimate.  So amazing how deep love can be when it’s centered around Christ!
